Comedy Skits 1971-1974
I started writing comedy skits in 1971. Since I liked doing it and felt I had talent in this area, I pursued the field, trying to become a writer for the various new television comedy-variety shows, such as the Helen Reddy Show, the Lily Tomlin Show and others.
I was living in Santa Barbara, CA and sending the script ideas to TV producers in Los Angeles. I also put together some of these skits to have them produced as a play in Santa Barbara. Unfortunately, none of my plans or efforts were sucessful, either due to my lack of sales ability, talent or distance from the television studios.
The following consists of the skits I wrote between 1971 and 1974. They are primarily listed in the order they were written.
